Milk Punch Recipe

Milk punch is a great alternative to eggnog over the holidays. This recipe can be adjusted to make a large pitcher for a crowd. You can also make it ahead of time and keep in the fridge.
Makes 1 drink:
- 1.5 oz bourbon
- 1 oz milk
- 1 oz half-and-half
- 2 tbsp powdered sugar, sifted
- dash vanilla extract
- grated nutmeg and cinnamon stick for garnish
Combine milk, half-and-half, and sugar in a pint glass; stir to dissolve sugar. Add bourbon, 1 cup cracked ice; cover with a shaker and shake for 20 seconds. Strain into a highball glass full of ice and sprinkle nutmeg over top.
